New/ Used Art and Collectable Sale

Paintings, posters, ceramics, jewelry, prints, glassware, antiques, sculpture….

 

Please drop off contributions to the 8th St. Center before Fri., Oct 27. Donation pick up available in the Magic Valley, if scheduled in advanced.

 

The Big Event! Sale: Sat. Nov 4, 9:00-3:00, $2 admission or $5 for a family. Entry for door prizes included with cost of admission.

7 Note cards depicting downtown Buhl by artists: Gayle Barigar, Fred Choate, Joyce DeFord, John Horejs, Tricia May, KennyO, and Deanna Schrell. Proceeds Benefit Buhl Arts Council’s Public Arts Programs. Packs of 7 assorted cards/ envelopes. $10.00/ pack.

 

 

Key to the Arts

The Buhl Arts Council is having a “Key to the Arts” fundraiser for the  purchase of a grand piano to be used at the Eighth Street Center.  The 88 piano keys will be sold for $200.00 each.  Once the keys are sold, key owners will be invited to an exclusive “Key Signing Celebration.”  Since our opening this fall, The Buhl Arts Council has presented successful monthly piano performances and look forward to offering such events in the future.

Professional pianist, Karmelle Nye and Randy Welch, of Welch Music - Twin Falls have offered their expertise in selecting the optimum piano for our facility.  The piano is a beautiful ebony black Young Chang - Regal Artist Grand.  Young Chang is known to build some of the most preferred pianos for performers, composers and institutions.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give a lasting contribution for promotion of the arts as well as a rewarding gift in the name of a family member or loved one.  A limited number of keys are available.  Please contact The Buhl Arts Council today to reserve your “Key to the Arts,” or fill out the printable form on the Membership page and send it to the Center with your payment.

Local Grocery Stores:

Both Ridleys and Albertson Grocery Stores have Community Partner Programs through their Value Cards. Please go to the store customer service desk or web page and sign up for your Community Partner Program proceeds to benefit the Buhl Arts Council. The Store will give a percentage of the proceeds to our Youth Programs.
